Coach Mike Hartmann has put together Spring Training plan to help you get ready for the season. There are plans for both performance athletes and for adventure athletes so everybody can participate. Since we want to make sure everyone is having fun along the way, we have added some prizes to the mix. Here's how it will work …
For April through July, riders are challenged to meet goals on the number of hours ridden. These goals will increase weekly and monthly. Every athlete that achieves the monthly goal wins a prize.
Coach Mike is managing the Spring Training program so if you plan to participate please send him a message through Team Snap letting him know 1) that you are participating and 2) if you are participating in the performance group or the adventure group.
There is a link to a detailed weekly schedule for the Spring training plan below. Athletes that plan to participate should review the details in this linked file.

For athletes that want to get the most out of the training program, Coach Mike has also outlined recommended training intensity. There is also a link to this detail below. The mix of easy and hard workouts will change throughout the Spring. Athletes can use the descriptions in the training program to gauge desired effort, or "go all in" and use a heart rate monitor to dial in their workouts. I think you will find that tracking your training can be both fun and very beneficial!
