Leigh is a NICA certified level 3 coach. He has been with the Edina team since the 2014 season and became team director in 2015 season. Like many kids, Leigh started biking for transportation but soon fell in love with the excitement of riding. Leigh's racing career started on the road during his college years at the University of Minnesota. He discovered mountain biking in the 1990's, both riding for fun and racing. After a prolonged break from mountain biking, Leigh rediscovered the sport when his daughters, Gabi and Bella, became involved in racing through the Edina team. Now mountain biking is a family affair!
