Try It Out Sessions
How does someone know if mountain biking is right for them? Try It Out sessions are a 1.5 hour introduction into the world of mountain biking! Bikes, helmets and instructors are provided at a trail head close to home. Events are held in May – June and are scheduled on an as-needed basis for teams or communities.

To participate you will need the following:
You can expect:
- Your Bike! (unless you are requesting to borrow)
- Helmet (we can loan you one if you don't have one)
- Closed-Toe shoes
- Eye protection/sunglasses
- Mosquito repellent
- A nutritious snack
- (Waiver)
You can expect:
- Arrive at the location with a parent/guardian, at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time
- Parent/Guardian will bring, or sign on site, a participation waiver for the rider
- Coaches will
- Check in registered riders
- Collect the parent-signed waiver
- Talk to riders and families
- Check required rider equipment:
- Distribute loaner bikes/helmets
- Do a quick bike check
- Provide basic instruction depending on rider experience level
- Discuss the ride
- The actual ride will take about 60 minutes
