Emily Hoppe, Middle School Lead Coach
Emily Hoppe is a MCA level 3, BICP level 1 coach, and mother of two middle school riders in 2022. She began Mountain biking in 2020 when searching for a pandemic friendly sport for the family. Starting as a Level 1 assistant, she quickly discovered how awesome mountain biking was with this enthusiastic group of kids and parent coaches. The 2024 season will be her 5th year with the team and third year as Middle School Lead Coach. She loves the opportunity to introduce the sport to new families, teach the basics, and hang out in the woods with her daughters and other fun people!

Bob Vose, High School Lead Coach
As a lifetime sports fanatic from tennis to hockey, golf to skiing, Bob's truest Love is Mountain Biking! Once a rogue rider at Hartley (Duluth) in the early pre-suspension days, Bob has graduated to passing along the fun to the next generation. This includes leading the team's effort to support making the Braemar mountain bike trails a reality.

Erik Hinke, High School Assistant Coach
Erik is a Level 3 MCA certified coach. He started mountain biking in the late 80s in and around River Falls and then Duluth, picked up Nordic skiing and then many years passed with no mountain biking love. He rediscovered his love for the sport when his son joined the team (thank you Cole) and jumped in to help coach. He spends a lot of time on his road bike too and enjoys commuting as a way of getting out of the car and into nature. Erik loves spreading the joy of getting on a bike and shredding it on the trails!
